“StoryAd” is a workshop that challenges your intelligence and creativity, which aims to collect ideas to promote social topics. The organizer will provide participants with basic information, invite guest speakers to share with participants face-to-face. The workshop will invite participants to brainstorm their responses and/or Ad ideas. Good ideas will be rewarded. “StoryAd” is waiting for your contributions.
The Guest speaker:
• Ms. Mimi Wong
Mimi was a male initially. But she has thought that she was a female since small. Born in the 1950s, which the thought in the society was still traditional, there was not much information about transgender. She followed the society’s expectation to male, and married with female even she did not want. On other’s view, she was a husband with a beautiful family. But to her, it was suffering which she had to compress the hope of being a female. Until her 50s, she knew from the internet that she had got Gender identity disorder occasionally. Afterwards, the relationship between her wife and her become worse as her wife found Mimi’s sneaky women dressing. Finally, Mini lost her family and work because of it. She determined to change her gender under the huge pressure, wanting to be a recognized woman.
