StoryAd -- Special Education Needs? (10 Oct 2019)

 (This event is for students of PolyU Master of Arts in Guidance & Counselling and Master of Social Work only, course code:APSS5782)

“StoryAd” is a workshop that challenges your intelligence and creativity, which aims to collect ideas to promote social topics. The organizer will provide participants with basic information, invite guest speakers to share with participants face-to-face. The workshop will invite participants to brainstorm their responses and/or Ad ideas. Good ideas will be rewarded. “StoryAd” is waiting for your contributions.

The Guest speaker:
•    Ms. Teresa Lam

Teresa is currently studying music at Hong Kong Baptist University. She is diagnosed as Asperger syndrome (also known as autism spectrum disorder), depression and schizophrenia. She was admitted to hospital twice in high school. During her time in the hospital, she observed the power of music, which made her, a music lover, determined to help herself and her wardmateswith music. She hopes to become a music therapist to assist those in need in the future.
